Kurdy Malloy, generally referred to as just Kurdy is a fictional Apocalptic survivor and one of the main characters from the television series Jeremiah. Played by actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, he was introduced in the pilot episode of the series and appeared in all thirty-three subsequent episodes.
Overview[]
Kurdy Malloy was an African American man in his mid-late twenties, and a survivor of "The Big Death" - a virus that killed most people over a certain age. A loner by nature, Kurdy was traveling across the wilderness when he encountered another loner named Jeremiah. An uneasy friendship was formed and the two trekked through the town of Clarefield, where they were captured a youthful warlord and imprisoned. With the help of a man named Simon, Kurdy was able to escape, and Jeremiah and he traveled to Thunder Mountain, which was actually the standing remains of the former NORAD complex. Kurdy agreed to begin running reconnaissance missions for the leader of Thunder Mountain, Markus Alexander. Part of this included gathering vital information that the Thunder Mountain crew could use in an effort to begin rebuilding the world.
