Kull the Conqueror is an American ongoing comic book series of the Sword & Sorcery subgenre of fantasy. It is based on the character of Kull created by author Robert E. Howard. The series was published by Marvel Comics from June, 1971 to September, 1973, spanning a total of ten issues. This series went on a publishing hiatus between October, 1971 and June, 1972, which was in between issues #2-3. The first three issues of the series were written by Roy Thomas, with later issues being written by Gerry Conway. Marie Severin and John Severin were the primary artists on the series. This title was followed by a two-issue limited series published in 1982-1983. The literary iteration of the Kull character first appeared in a story called "The Shadow Kingdom", which was published in the August, 1929 issue of Weird Tales.
