Krites, or Crites, are a fictional alien species featured in the Critters film series. They represent the primary antagonists of the franchise and were introduced in the 1986 sci-fi/horror comedy Critters. The Krites have all appeared in all spin-off projects from the franchise.
Description[]
Crites are a semi-intelligent predatory animal race. They are characterized by their small bodies, excessive body hair and large teeth. They are an agressive species that take pleasure in murdering human targets. In 1986, a group of escaped Crite prisoners made their way to Earth where they landed in rural Kansas and ended up terrorizing the Brown family. Years later, young Brad Brown - now a teenager, returned to his home town whereupon a second Crite invasion took place.
