Description[]
Sentries were large robotic constructs developed by the alien race known as the Kree. The Kree scientist known as Bronnek developed the original sentry models some 80,000 years ago and they were put into service defending and supporting Kree military outposts across the Kree Empire. Kree sentries stood between fifteen to thirty feet tall and weighed anywhere between three to six tons depending upon the gravity of the world they were on. Sentries were highly durable and could increase their individual strength levels. They also had auto-repair functionality and could transmit and receive Kree communications and data streams across subspace.
There have been several sentry models that have seen action on the planet Earth. One model had an entanglement with the Fantastic Four. Another was known to fight Captain Mar-Vell and was responsible for transforming the Earth criminal Esteban Carracus into the Cheetah.
