Korugarans are a fictional alien race featured in comic books published by DC Comics, as well as its related media, including animated projects and feature films. They are primarily represented by the character of Sinestro, who is the arch-nemesis of Green Lantern, Hal Jordan. They first appeared in Green Lantern, Volume 2 #7 in August, 1961.
