"Cave of Darkness" is the first story featured in issue #58 of the Korak, Son of Tarzan ongoing adventure series published by DC Comics. It was written by Joe Kubert with artwork and inks by Rudy Florese. It was lettered by Erik Santos. The second story is called "The Deadly Motion Picture! (Part 2)" and is written by Gaylord Du Bois with art & inks by Russ Manning. Both stories were edited by Joe Kubert with Allan Asherman assistant editor. This issue shipped with a July-August, 1975 cover date and carries a cover price of .25 cents per copy.
Adrift on his raft, Korak is mysteriously pulled toward an island inhabited by monstrous insects, lizards and bats. He stumbles upon a sacrificial ceremony and goes for the rescue.
This issue includes "The Ape Vine" letters column edited by Allan Asherman.
This is the thirteenth issue of Korak, Son of Tarzan published by DC Comics. Prior to issue #46, the series was published by Gold Key Comics.
"The Deadly Motion Picture! (Part 2)" was originally printed under the title "Korak and the White Water Runner", which appeared as a series of comic strips published by United Feature Syndicate from August 2nd, 1971 to November 20th, 1971.
