Klyde is a fictional animal character featured in comic books published by Basement Comics and Amryl Entertainment.
Biography[]
"In evolution there's always a first and a last. Unless you are Klyde" . [1] Klyde is a highly intelligent ape of the gorilla species. Like any average mountain gorilla, Klyde led a fairly content life, lying about, staring up at the moon and grazing on whatever edible food was within his reach. However, laziness was not a lifestyle that was fated for Klyde.
Klyde was the companion of Meriem Cooper, also known as Cavewoman. Klyde always regarded himself as Meriem's protector, and grew frustrated with her headstrong antics. Klyde's formidable strength enabled him to fight off a wide variety of creatures, such as dinosaurs and sea monsters.
