Kleist is a fictional criminal scientist a minor antagonist featured on the 1975 television series Wonder Woman. Played by actor Russ Marin, he appeared in the premiere episode of season two, "The Return of Wonder Woman".
Biography[]
Kleist was a scientist, presumably of German descent. He was the assistant to Doctor Solano and helped him secretly monitor the actions of top U.S. government officials en route to a secret conference in Latin America. When Solano's inside man overplayed his hand and tried to take down the passengers and crew, Kleist tried to maintain radio contact, but lost the plane's position after it went into a nosedive. This was likely caused by the plane's presence in the Bermuda Triangle.
