History[]
In one instance, Black Panther was able to bring up the schematic of a jumbo jet's cockpit controls and take command of the aircraft, landing the plane safely in a river. "Kimoyo" is Bantu for "of the spirit".
They were connected to several global positioning satellites and were able to monitor ones over a select area, thus notifying its user of potential dangers in certain regions. [1]
A Kimoyo was also able to jam signals such as those sent to self-destruct devices which allowed the wearer to stop explosives from being detonated. [2]
It was able to track targets struck by Vibranium energy daggers, who were tagged with a unique signature which the Kimoyo was able to detect. [3]
