Biography[]

Kenny Brown was a news cameraman who worked alongside Gale Weathers. Kenny attended Gale when she traveled to Woodsboro, California to cover a string of teenage murders. Two of the victims had ties to Sidney Prescott, the daughter of another murder victim, Maureen Prescott, who had been killed a year earlier. Gale always believed that her accused killer Cotton Weary was innocent, and used this as an opportunity to promote her theory.

Gale had Kenny stake out the Macher residence in their news van while Stu Macher hosted a party. A masked serial killer, colloquially known as Ghostface, raided the house, killing several teens. There were actually two killers donning the mask of Ghostface, one of whom happened to be Stu Macher himself. Stu attacked Kenny in the news van, slitting his throat with a large hunting knife.
