Kendra Eldridge is a central character featured in the 1974 sci-fi/horror film Phase IV. She was played by actress Lynne Frederick. In the film, Kendra Eldridge is a member of a rural family living in the Arizona desert. When a species of highly-evolved, intelligent, mutant ants begin swarming across the area, Kendra must enlist the aid of a team of scientists from a nearby research station to survive.

- The character of Kendra Eldridge was created by director Saul Bass and screenwriter Mayo Simon based on concepts originally developed by author Barry N. Malzberg.
- Director Saul Bass went through a lot of work training actress Lynne Frederick on losing her British accent in order to play a character from the American southwest. [2] Despite this, there are still scenes where Frederick's accent shines through. [3]
- Lynne Frederick was made to wear a corset during filming to make her look more flat-chested as her character was only supposed to be about sixteen-years-old. [4]
- Phase IV is actress Lynne Frederick's seventh film role, including television movies.
