Kazuki Ōmori was a Japanese film director and screenwriter best known for his work on the "Hesei series" of Godzilla films in the late 1980s to mid-1990s. His first work was on the 1989 film Godzilla vs. Biollante, the second of the Hesei series following The Return of Godzilla in 1984. Ohmori both directed and wrote the screeplay for this movie. He followed this up with the next sequel in the franchise, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, which he again wrote and directed. In 1992, he wrote the script for Godzilla vs. Mothra and in 1995, he wrote the script for the final film in this particular run, Godzilla vs. Destroyah.
