Biography[]
Kate Boone was the wife of police captain William Boone. William was in charge of the security detail for the extraterrestrial Taelon companion known as Da'an. Following a failed attempt to assassinate Da'an, he asked Boone to become a permanent member of his personal security retinue, but Boone politely declined. He returned home and told Kate about the offer, and she was slightly irritated that Boone would make such a decision without even consulting her, calling him "the most stubborn man she has ever met".
Shortly thereafter, left their home and began driving down the street. A car started following her, rear-ending her bumper several times. She sped up to get away and rab through a red light, colliding with another vehicle. Suddenly, her car exploded, killing her instantly.
William suspected the Taelons of being responsible for his wife's death, and joined a human resistance cell to determine the true purpose of the aliens' presence on Earth.
