Kara Killgrave is a fictional mutant and a superhero character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Also known by the code names Purple Girl, Persuasion and Purple Woman, the character first appeared as a teenager in the pages of Alpha Flight, Volume 1 #41 in December, 1986. She is the daughter of a Silver-Age Daredevil villain named Zebediah Killgrave, aka, the Purple Man. As Purple Girl, Kara became a member of the second wave of characters to join Alpha Flight. She later went on to become a member of Alpha Strike.
