Kangas, also known as Sky Kangas, are a breed of animal native to Paradise Island. They are biologically similar to kangaroos. The Amazons of Paradise Island would often ride kangas for sport, but would also keep them as pets. When Lyta Hall was living on Paradise Island, she had a pet kanga named Flicka. Flicka eventually had offspring, one white kanga and one black. This was considered an extreme rarity, as most kangas were grey in color. Wonder Woman gave the kanga offspring to Lyta as an engagement gift when she agreed to marry Hector Hall.
