"Between Two Armies" is an animated short featured on the Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure. It spotlights the DC Comics superhero team, the Justice League of America, and is the first of three shorts that centers on this group. It was directed by Hal Sutherland, Louis Zukor and Norm McCabe. The script for the episode was written by comic book author and editor George Kashdan. It originally aired on CBS on September 9th, 1967.

- This episode is a total sausage-fest. Seriously, there's no chicks here. Where the hell is Wonder Woman?
- Although Aquaman appears in the opening montage scene, he does not actually appear in this episode.
Bloopers[]
- The menu on disc two of the DC Super Heroes: The Filmation Adventures DVD erroneously titles this episode, "In Between Two Armies", when it is actually called "Between Two Armies". The correct title is shown in the episode itself.
- In one scene, Green Lantern makes a giant hammer with his ring and is colored yellow. Not only should it be colored green, but Green Lantern's ring is completely powerless against anything colored yellow.
