Jurmagic Park is the unofficial appellation relating to a fictional business featured on the CW Network television series Legends of Tomorrow. It appeared in the season four episode, "The Eggplant, the Witch & the Wardrobe".
History[]
When Nate Heywood was a child, he fantasized about a theme park that was filled with magical creatures. When his father, Hank Heywood, Jr., learned that magical creatures actually existed, he set out to construct the park for real. Such an ambitious plan however required unconventional resources. Heywood used his government connections to get an administrative role with the Time Bureau, and embezzled funds from the bureau for the park's construction. He also made a deal with the demon Neron to help facilitate his objectives.
Nate Heywood learned that his father had been conducting secret activities involving creatures that the Time Bureau had captured. He thought that Hank had been torturing the creatures, when in fact, he had actually been training them for his park.
Heywood died before his dream could ever be brought to fruition however. Nate Heywood and his friend Ray Palmer visited the park and ordered construction foreman, Mikey T, to demolish it. Heywood later had a change of heart and put a stop to the demolition order.
Notes[]
- There is no official name for this location. "Jurmagic Park" was a tongue-in-cheek reference that Nate Heywood said. It was a reference to the Michael Crichton novel Jurassic Park, as well as the popular film series by Steven Spielberg.
