Judith Cort is a fictional mother and a minor character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. She made a single appearance in flashback in Devil's Reign: Moon Knight #1 in May, 2022.
Biography[]
Judith Cort was once married to Michael "Man Mountain" Marko. They had a daughter together, but shortly after her birth, Marko abandoned them. Twelve years later, Judith and Michael's daughter began developing super-powers similar to her father. When Man Mountain Marko learned about this, suddenly his daughter became a thing of value to him. Judith did not want her daughter being exploited or her mind poisoned by her father's lifestyle. She asked Mister Knight for help and he promised that he would do what he could to protect her daughter.
As Moon Knight, Marc Spector allowed himself to be captured by a Thunderbolt Unit, knowing that they would send him to Myrmidon Prison, which is where Marko was incarcerated. Spector got himself involved in a cage match against Marko, and warned him that he was never to see his daughter or ex-wife ever again. Marko scoffed at Moon Knight's threat until Spector delivered on his promise in the most literal way possible by gouging out Man Mountain Marko's eyes. [1]
