Josephine Greene was the first wife of Hershel Greene. She was also the mother of Maggie Greene, who was her only child. Josephine passed away some time prior to the zombie viral outbreak, by which point, Hershel had since remarried. A photograph of Josephine was kept in the Greene family farmhouse.
