Jonathan Crane is a fictional costumed villain and a recurring antagonist featured in the Batman film series, which is based on the DC Comics superhero character Batman. Crane is associated with the "Dark Knight Trilogy" series of films directed by Christopher Nolan. He was played by actor Cillian Murphy and was a secondary antagonist in the 2005 film Batman Begins. He made small appearances in the movie's two sequels, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.
