Jonathan "Johnny" Smith is a fictional psychic and private investigator featured in the 1979 novel The Dead Zone by author Stephen King as well as the 1983 film adaptation The Dead Zone and the 2002-2007 The Dead Zone television series on USA Network. In the film, the role of Johnny Smith was played by actor Christopher Walken. In the TV series, he was played by former teen icon Anthony Michael Hall.
