John Wraith is a fictional government agent & mutant and a recurring character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in Wolverine, Volume 2 #48 in September, 1991. A version of the character also appeared in the 2009 feature film X-Men Origins: Wolverine where he was played by actor Will.i.am.
Biography[]
John Wraith was a mutant gifted with the ability of teleportation. During the Cold War, he became a government operative, specializing in demolitions. He was assigned to the Team X response squad of the Central Intelligence Agency and was active during the early 1960s. All members of Team X were given age suppression treatments during their years of operation.

- The character of John Wraith was created by writer Larry Hama and artist Marc Silvestri.
- A version of John Wraith also appeared in the "Ultimate Marvel" continuity and took on more of an antagonistic role, serving as a nemesis to Wolverine. He first appeared in Ultimate X-Men #2 and was created by Mark Millar and Adam Kubert.
