John Billingsley is an American actor born in Media, Pennsylvania on May 20th, 1960. He has appeared in several notable science fiction television programs, but he is best known for playing the role of alien medical officer Doctor Phlox on the UPN television series Star Trek: Enterprise. His first professional work was the 1988 television crime drama Seven Hours to Judgment. His first sci-fi work was in 1998 where he played a doctor named Andrew Pike in the television movie The Sky's on Fire. The following year, he played Timmy the Geek in the "Three of a Kind" episode of The X-Files. In 2002, Billingsley was cast in the role of Simon Coombs in "The Other Guys" episode of Stargate SG-1. During his tenure on Star Trek: Enterprise, John also provided the voice for the villain Doctor Psy-Q Hi in the two-part episode of Duck Dodgers entitled "Of Course You Know, This Means War and Peace". In 2007, Billingsley played a character named Alan Pratt on the "Game Three" episode of the short-lived time travel drama series Journeyman. Billingsley returned to the big screen in 2009 to play the part of Professor West in the disaster epic 2012.
