Biography[]

Johanna Constantine was born in England in the year 1760. She was born into a noble family to Lord and Lady Constantine. She was orphaned at a young age and forced to live on her own. She had a relationship with a man who bore her a daughter, whom she nicknamed "Mouse". Being an unwed mother, Johanna Constantine was stripped of her title. Raising a daughter on her own, she passed Mouse off as a boy, citing that she would be made more vulnerable living on the streets of London if people knew that she was a girl.

In 1785, when Joanna was 25-years-old, she was approached by members of the Interventionist Branch of the British government to undertake a very secret mission. She was told to retrieve a mysterious box, which went missing from the cargo hold of a clipper ship known as the Lokk. She was given specific instructions, that under no circumstances was she to open the box, or allow it to be opened by any other hands. In exchange for this dangerous endeavor, the British officials agreed to reinstate Johanna's title of Lady.

Johanna and Mouse's mission brought them into contact with a privateer named Rafe McCallister. Johanna used her feminine whiles to convince Rafe to bring her to Spitzbergen in the Arctic Sea in search of the box. Arriving in Spitzbergen, Johanna encountered Dorian Blackwood, who was an aspect of Lady Blackwood - also known as the legendary Pandora. [3]
