Joe Evans is a minor recurring character from the 2009-2011 relaunch of V. He was played by former X-Files actor Nicholas Lea and introduced in the season one episode, "Welcome to the War". Joe made three appearances in season one of the series and two appearances in season two, which included the character's untimely demise in episode 2.6, "Siege".

- The character of Joe Evans was created by director Yves Simoneau and writer Scott Rosenbaum based on concepts originally developed by Scott Peters and Kenneth Johnson.
- It is believed that Lisa II became pregant after mating with Tyler Evans, which wold make the offspring the grandchild of Joe Evans. However, since the series was cancelled before the plotline could be resolved, it is unknown whether Lisa ever gave birth.
