Joan Taylor was an American actress born in Geneva, Illinois on August 18th, 1929. She is best known for her numerous appearances in various westerns throughout the 1950s and 60s, but has also made her mark on science fiction history as well. In 1956, she appeared in the Charles H. Schneer production of Earth vs. the Flying Saucers, playing a character named Carol Martin. The following year, she appeared in another Schneer sci-fi classic, 20 Million Miles to Earth as Marisa Leonardo, the daughter of an Italian scientist.
Joan Taylor passed away in Santa Monica, California on March 4th, 2012 at the age of 82.
