Joan Appleby, also known as Chantarelle, Lily Houston, and Anne Steele, is a fictional character featured in the "Buffyverse" continuity. Played by actress Julia Lee, she first appeared in the season two episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer titled "Lie to Me".
