Jillia is a fictional farmer's daughter and a minor character featured on the 1974 television series Planet of the Apes, which was partly based on the 1968 film series produced by Arthur P. Jacobs. She was played by actress Eileen Dietz Elber and appeared in episode 1x04, "The Good Seeds".
Biography[]
Jillia was a humanoid ape of the chimpanzee species. She lived on a farm some distance outside of Central City, California in the year 3085. She was the teenage daughter of Polar and Zantes, the younger sister of Anto and the older sister of Remus.
One day, the human refugees, Alan Virdon and Peter Burke brought their injured chimpanzee friend Galen to Polar's farm in need of rest and medical assistance. During Galen's convalescence, Jillia developed a crush on him, but it ultimately became an unrequited love.
