Jill is a fictional nanny & murder victim and a supporting character featured in the Child's Play film series. Played by actress Maitland McConnell, she appeared in the 2013 direct-to-video film Curse of Chucky.
Biography[]
Jill was a young attractive blonde-haired woman from Rhode Island. She worked as an au pair for a woman named Barbara and looked after Barbara's daughter, Alice. Barbara paid her four-hundred dollars a week for her service, which was more than what Barbara's husband Ian was making working at Starbucks. Jill was also a lesbian, who was secretly carrying on an affair with Barbara. Ian also had an interest in Jill, but was also suspicious of his wife's infidelity.
When Barbara's mother, Sarah Pierce, died under mysterious circumstances, Barbara, Ian, Alice, and Jill went to her residence in Highgate the following day. Alice had discovered a Good Guys doll named Chucky while they were staying overnight at the house, and instantly became enamored with it.
That evening, Jill put Alice down to bed, then sat on the edge of her bed in her underwear with her laptop so she could have some romantic video chat time with Barbara who was in the other room. During the chat, Barbara noticed Chucky scurrying about in the background. Believing that it was Alice playing with the doll, she motioned to Jill to look behind her. Jill thought Barbara was playing coy and didn't turn her head until it was too late. Chucky appeared right next to her with a bucket of water sitting on the floor (the bucket was there to catch drips from a leaking ceiling). He kicked the bucket over and the water washed over the floor outlet that Jill's laptop was plugged into. The water swept over Jill's bare feet, and when it made contact with the outlet, it sent an electrical charge through her body, killing her.
