Jessica Alba is an American film and television actress of French and Mexican descent. She was born in Pomona, California on April 28th, 1981. Her first work in a sci-fi feature was portraying the part of Samantha Swoboda in the 1999 sci-fi/comedy P.U.N.K.S.. Alba is best known however for playing the lead role of feline, genetically enhanced super-woman Max Guevara in James Cameron's action hit series Dark Angel. Alba appeared in every episode of the series and also provided the voice for the character in the 2002 Dark Angel video game. Jessica is also known for a playing super-heroine Susan Storm Richards in the feature film adaptations of the Marvel Comics comic book series The Fantastic Four and 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
