Friday the 13th[]
Jesse is a fictional child and a minor character featured in the Friday the 13th film series. He made a single appearance in the 1981 film sequel, Friday the 13th Part 2. The performer who played Jesse is uncredited and unknown, but is notable for being the very first character in the film and the first character with speaking lines. The character is only visible from the legs down and it is not entirely clear whether Jesse is supposed to be a boy or a girl.
Jesse lived somewhere in southern New Jersey, not very far from Camp Crystal Lake. One night after a rainstorm in August of 1979, Jesse was walking home singing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" while splashing through rain puddles. Jesse's mother caught note of him and told him to come into the house right away. Jesse whined "Oh, mom", but presumably obeyed her instruction. Moments later, Jason Voorhees strode across the same street that Jesse had been walking.
Marvel Universe[]
Moon Knight[]
Jesse was a Caucasian middle-aged man who worked as a dispatcher at Quick Cab, Inc., based out of Brooklyn in New York City. He appeared to be an affable fellow who wore a fishing hat and liked to drink coffee and eat bananas. He warned cab driver Jake Lockley about being late for his fares, stressing about how much it was peeving their boss, Abner Skrooney. (Marvel Spotlight 28)
Spider-Man[]
Jesse was male Caucasian who operated out of the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He was a former soldier who became a criminal with a low IQ - something that he was very sensitive about. Insulted that people always regarded him as dumb, he went to a school playground where he took a little girl hostage, holding a knife to her throat. Spider-Man arrived on the scene and tried talking him into releasing the little girl. When this tactic failed, he used his web-shooters to web up the assailant's hands and then left him dangling from a street lamp. (Web of Spider-Man 84)
