Jeremy Leven is a novelist and screenwriter born in South Bend, Indiana in 1941. He wrote the novel Creator, which was adapted into a sci-fi/comedy film in 1985 directed by Ivan Passer. In 2011, he wrote the story treatment for the movie Real Steel, which was based on the novel Steel by Richard Matheson. The script for the film was written by Dan Gilroy and John Gatins.
