Jeremy Aster is a minor character featured in the syndicated science fiction television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Played by actor Gabriel Damon, he appeared in the season three episode of the series, "The Bonding".
Biography[]
Jeremy Aster was a human whose mother, Lieutenant Marla Aster, worked aboard the Federation Starfleet starship the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D in the late 24th century. Lieutenant Aster was killed in a bomb explosion on the Koinonian homeworld in 2366, leaving Jeremy an orphan. Jeremy blamed Lieutenant Worf for his mother's death, as he was the leader of the away team mission at the time. Worf helped Jeremy get through his grief and even performed the R'uustai - a Klingon ritual that bonded the two together as brothers.
