Jefferson Bolt is a fictional character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He is associated with the Swamp Thing line of titles and first appeared in Swamp Thing, Volume 1 #11 in July-August, 1974 in a story titled "The Conqueror Worms!"
Biography[]
Jefferson Bolt was an African American adult male, who had allied himself with the Swamp Thing. Jefferson Bolt was one of the kidnapped victims of Zachary Nail. He was freed by Matt Cable, Abigail Arcane and Swamp Thing, and a short while later learned that Swamp Thing was in reality a transformed Alec Holland (which was later disproven).
He got involved in the revenge scheme of Mister E. and attempted to help Swamp Thing for some time since, until he came to believe that the monster was destroyed by Matt.
