Jahnel Curfman is a stunt performer, film actress and former Los Angeles Lakers girl. Jahnel worked on the set of Avatar with director, James Cameron for three years. Cast as the Basketball Avatar, she also performed stunts, did harness work, created the movement of the native people, and was part of the exclusive ensemble that worked with Cameron daily on the performance capture development. She later went on to perform stunt work for Michael Bay in 2011's Transformers: Dark of the Moon. That same year, she had a bit role in Real Steel. Currently she is doubling Angie Harmon on Rizzoli and Isles and doing stunts on John Carter of Mars.
