- Energy absorption: While trapped in the Blood Gem realm, Rott had the ability to absorb large volumes of energy. He demonstrated this by absorbing a blast from The Ray.
- Immortality: As Rott is a prisoner of a pocket dimension, he is effectively immortal. Were he to continue to exist in the material world, he would undoubtedly age.
- Superhuman strength: Rott is strong enough that he can easily trade blows with the Martian Manhunter.
