Biography[]
Jackson Norriss was an assassin employed by the Ten Rings criminal cartel. In 2012, an industrialist named Aldrich Killian hired drug-addled English actor Trevor Slattery to be the public face of a terrorist cell. Slattery impersonated the leader of the Ten Rings, dubbed the "Mandarin", but was eventually captured and incarcerated for his crimes. The true leader of the Ten Rings, Xu Wenwu learned that Slattery had been transferred to Seagate Prison and sent Jackson to assassinate him.
Jackson Norriss went undercover as a documentarian, seeking to get the final interview with Trevor Slattery. He had weaponry installed inside of his camera equipment and was able to get inside Seagate to get the interview. Jackson spoke with Slattery at length inside of an interrogation room, which also included Trevor's "butler", Herman as well as several armed guards.
Jackson ultimately revealed himself to be an agent of the Ten Rings, and told Slattery that the true Mandarin was not happy that he had appropriated his name, and he wanted it back. Norriss withdrew a concealed pistol from inside his camera and used it to shoot the guards. He then detached one of his camera tripod legs and used it as a truncheon against Herman. He ultimately stabbed Herman in the throat, killing him.
While Jackson was fighting with Herman, Trevor managed to get a hold of his gun and leveled it at Norriss' face. Jackson easily disarmed Trevor, then radioed to his associates who arrived by helicopter to break Trevor out of prison and bring him back to the Ten Rings' headquarters in China.
