Izanagi is a fictional crime boss and a minor character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in flashback on Daredevil #505 in April, 2010.
Biography[]
Izanagi was a daimyo of the Yakuza and was a sensei for The Hand. He believed in unity of the clans and understood how The Hand has been riven by internecine bickering over the years. Izanagi had a student named Bakuto, who became the Daimyo of South America after murdering his master.
