It Came from Outer Space is an American feature film of the science fiction genre. It was directed by Jack Arnold with a screenplay by Harry Essex, based on a story treatment by noted sci-fi luminary Ray Bradbury. The film was produced by Universal Pictures and released theatrically in the United States on May 25th, 1953.
