The Model 37 armor was developed by Tony Stark as a successor to the Iron Man Bio/Metalo-Mimetic Suit Series Mk III, or "Extremis" enhanced armor. This armor utilized the R.T. node and repulsor technology, which comprised the entirety of its power output.
