Properties[]

Due to its sturdy iron casing, the MK I armor increased Tony Stark's lifting capabilities and overall strength level to the point that he could uproot a fully grown tree and throw it at an opponent. The armor was also highly durable and could withstand high caliber weapons fire.

The circuits of the armor were powered by midget transistors that coordinated with Tony's brain waves, enabling the armor to respond to his thoughts. The transistors also powered air-pressure jets in the bottom of its boots that enabled Tony the ability to fly. Another feature of the armor was a magnetic turbo-insulator. By reversing the charge, Tony could generate a burst of energy from his palms to repel obstructions made of metal. A miniature buzz saw was installed in one of the fingers that could cut through a solid wall. Another feature was a lubricating apparatus, which could also squirt a volume of oil.

Vulnerabilities[]

Although the mini-transistors that powered the armor were very strong, they also drained the armor's power systems very rapidly. Iron Man could only perform a limited amount of functionality using the suit's systems before he would have to recharge.
