Iron Man armor refers to any variations of a type of power armor featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are technological items associated with the character of Iron Man, whose real name is Tony Stark, and first appeared in Tales of Suspense #39 in March, 1963. Iron Man armor also relates to power armor worn by individuals other than Tony Stark, such as the War Machine armor used by James Rhodes. The Iron Man armor can be found in Marvel Comics related media, including the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The original grey model. Cobbled together using scraps from a cave. Relied heavily upon magnets and transistors. After Tony Stark returned stateside, he gave the armor a gold paint job. The gold armor is not the Mark II.
