Iron Fist is an American ongoing comic book series that blends elements of superhero fantasy with the Kung Fu genre. It was published by Marvel Comics from November, 1975 to September, 1977, totalling fifteen issues. Iron Fist features Danny Rand - the son of a wealthy businessman who travels to the mythical city of K'un-Lun where he is orphaned and raised by monks. He is trained in the ways of mystical martial prowess by Yu-Ti and develops the ability to channel energy through his fist so that it becomes like unto a thing of iron. Returning to the United States, Danniel Rand fights againt the forces of evil in the costumed guise of Iron Fist.

- The character of Danny Rand was created by writer Roy Thomas and artists Gil Kane and Dick Giordano. He first appeared in Marvel Premiere #15 in 1974.
- The first two issues of the series were published on a monthly shipping schedule, while the remainder of the series was published bi-monthly.
- Iron Fist #8 was reprinted in 2005 and packaged with the Iron Fist Marvel Legends action figure.
