- Galway
- Galway is a city in Ireland. It is located in the province of Connacht in County Galway. Galway plays a large role in the "Buffyverse" continuity, as this was the birth place of Liam, who would go on to become more popularly known as Angel. In the year 1753, Liam was a worthless drunkard, who wandered about the village spending his father's money. A vampire named Darla took an interest in him and offered him the opportunity to "see the world" and made him a vampire. Liam left Galway soon after. [1]
