"Flight Into Darkness" is the fifth episode of season two of the British science fiction television series The Invisible Man and the nineteenth episode of the series overall. It was directed by Peter Maxwell and written by Ian Stuart Black, based on a story treatment by William Altman. It first aired on ITV London on October 24th, 1959.
Plot[]
In this episode, a scientist named Doctor Steve Stephens develops anti-gravity technology, but upon making an important discovery decides to destroy all of his notes and go into hiding. His daughter, Pat Stephens, enlists the aid of Peter Brady to track her father down before foreign agents discover the truth behind the man's secret work.
