Notes & Trivia[]
- Invincible is copyright © and trademarked by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, 2003. All rights reserved.
- The tagline to this issue is "Girls, acne, homework, super-villains. When you're a teenager, it helps to be INVINCIBLE".
- Robert Kirkman's onomatopoeia lettering is very much in the style of Walt Simonson.
- The comic book that Invincible is reading on the toilet is Science Dog!. Image Comics will go on to publish a two-issue limited series of Science Dog in August, 2010 and May, 2011. Issue #1 reprints Invincible #25 and issue #2 reprints Invincible #75.
- Reginald VelJohnson High School is named after actor Reginald VelJohnson, best known for playing police officer Al Powell in the 1988 holiday classic Die Hard (it's a Christmas movie, dammit. I don't care what anybody says). Reginald VelJohnson will go on to provide the voice for principal Dean Winslow on the Invincible animated series.
