The Inquisitorious is a fictional organization featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. They are considered part of canon continuity and appeared regularly in the Star Wars: Rebels animated series as well as Star Wars comic book titles.
Description[]
The Inquisitorius was an organization formed in 19 BBY by Emperor Sheev Palpatine. Their purpose was to carry out Order 66 following the conclusion of the Clone Wars, which involved hunting down and exterminating all remaining members of the Jedi Order throughout the galaxy. The Inquisitorius was led by a Pau'an Grand Inquisitor, who answered directly to Darth Vader, who was the Emperor's chief enforcer behind the Jedi Purge.
