"Obsidian: The Origin" is the title to the thirty-third issue of the first Infinity, Inc. ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics. The story was written by Roy & Dann Thomas and illustrated by Ron Harris. It was inked by Tony DeZuniga, colored by Liz Berube and lettered by David Cody Weiss. The cover art illustration was rendered by Todd McFarlane, Tony DeZuniga, and colored by Anthony Tollin. The story was edited by Roy Thomas, credited as creative editor, with Greg Weisman as associate editor. This issue shipped with a December, 1986 cover date and carries a cover price of $1.50 per copy (US).
