The Infant Terrible is a fictional space alien and a minor recurring antagonist featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is associated with the Fantastic Four line of titles and first appeared in Fantastic Four #24 in March, 1964.
Biography[]
The So-called Infant Terrible was a child member of the alien race known as Elanians. As children are wont to do, the infant got away from its parents and made its way to Earth. Scared and in need of comfort, it began running amok throughout New York City with its wild matter transmutation powers seemingly running out of control. The alien's actions attracted the attention of the Fantastic Four.
A criminal named Big Joe tried to manipulate the creature into using its powers to provide him with wealth. While Susan Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm tried to contain the alien's efforts, Reed Richards used a powerful radio transmitter to summon other members of the alien's race. The Infant Terrible's parents came to Earth to collect him. [1]
