- This is the final appearance of Benson, who is shot in the back and killed by Curtiss Jackson.
- This issue includes a flashback to when Bruce Banner was first pelted by Gamma Rays way back in Incredible Hulk #1 in 1962.
- This issue includes a flashback of when the Hulk first battled Betty Ross while she was the Harpy. This took place in Incredible Hulk #168.
